I love E.
Tonight I get to see E after the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame for a weekend to celebrate her, her triumph, and have a mini-girl's weekend in the big city. :)
I believe friendships are important not because of the things we have in common, but more so for the things great friendships challenge us on. The best friendships are one where they can be equal parts sounding board and mirror in front of us ebbing and flowing with the highs and lows of our lives.
E has been to hell and back these past eight months, and I have watched her bear it all with grace, dignity, and bravery (not necessarily all at the same time). No pity here (I wouldn't dare!)...just admiration.
