Today is the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the U.S.
My thoughts and prayers are with our nation today. I have no television, so I am not fully experiencing the bombardment that I know is happening. I have been asking people their thoughts about the ten year anniversary...their answers are enough for me to realize that we are a nation that has not yet healed from what we saw and experienced that day. I pray that we continue to heal, that we never forget, but mostly that we learn. Within all great pain there are lessons...I know I am definitely still learning...
I thought the sunset at The Farm tonight was especially beautiful....
It was almost like a beam shooting out of the sun up to heaven...
We are better than we were...we are better than we are.
We live. We laugh. We love. We move on. We die.
We are better than we were...we are better than we are.
