I am healing and hoping to be 100% again very soon. I did get a fresh prescription yesterday (I was oh so happy about that), and I am being unusually good about resting and taking my recovery slow. I know...I know...I am really growing up. :) Okay, the truth is that I am a big baby. I DO NOT like pain.
One of the things that is saving me as I spend so much time "down" is all of the various blogs I have started following in the last few months. They are keeping me entertained while also giving me lots of great ideas of things I can do once I am back in fighting condition.
In the interest of being brief (I know...shocker) and that it is almost time for more meds, I wanted to share a new favorite website that I learned about through one of my new favorite blogs
Design*Sponge. It seems to be the "print" version of
Etsy (which I LOVE!!).
It is called
Unknown Prints, it is a UK site that connects people looking for affordable artwork with artists and designers. I highly recommend checking it out...they have photography, prints, graphic designs, etc. Cool stuff...especially if you like quotes or photography. Me! Me! Me! :)
I am so glad to be on the mend. I am so glad for pain meds that make healing so much easier. I am so glad for technology that allows me to play and work from the comfort of my bed so that I don't get even further behind in my life than I already am. I am so glad for friends and family who play Words With Friends with me, send texts, e-mails, food, etc. I am a blessed woman. I have a lot of thank you notes to write. :)
